Face Painting

I have recently found a new like in face painting; whilst on a Halloween project I attempted to paint Lewis’ face, as you can see in the first image captioned ‘creepy clown’ and received positive feedback as well as one of the young participants asking for me to paint his face!

From then on I was engaged with this creative art form and continued. The next event to arise was Halloween itself where I quickly adjusted mine and Lewis’ face to suit the characters we were playing. After that I chose to use the upcoming Fright Night Soft Touch have planned, to   keep practising various creatures and techniques. Joshua and Mason volunteered there help as guinea pigs at one of the STart sessions and again was told that improvement was being made but I could also see what I had missed out to create the effect I wanted. The Zombie Festival at the Phoenix is where I chose to alter my mistakes, painting mine and Lewis’ face, the same characters as we were on Halloween but taking my time and adding to the zombie look.

Finally my recent and last practise so far has been in the Soft Touch office, trying a doll look on myself and giving Lewis a big creepy grin to which he added his own ideas of covering his face.

Below are all the pictures of each of the creatures I have done so far;
